Cole Stamm is a writer and director from South Carolina and was a 2021 Indie Grants recipient for the short film Day Pass.

 

Cole's latest feature script, Neophyte, a thriller about a college student who becomes attracted to a brother in the fraternity he is pledging, was a recent Semi-Finalist of Austin Film Festival's Screenplay Competition in 2023. 

As a writer and director, he has made several short films which have played at film festivals around the world such as Clermont Ferrand, Encounters, and Palm Springs ShortFest.

Cole also co-wrote the screenplay for the feature film Riddle (2012), a psychological thriller set in rural America starring Val Kilmer (The Doors).

Cole received his MFA at New York University’s graduate film program in Singapore in 2015. Cole is also a graduate of Vancouver Film School and Clemson University (BA, English).
